Nov 1, 2008	Coach Cafe (Coaches' Clinic) 8:30 - 2:00 Coaches' Clinic, All coaches are urged to attend. Information will be presented through a series of mini workshops. Subjects will include "getting started" and team building, solving the long term problem, style, spontaneous, balsa wood structures and using the web site. New coaches will gain valuable insight into various aspects of the Odyssey program. Veteran coaches will share coaching tips. Tournament Guidelines

Coaches register their own teams at the tournaments. Do not pick up other teams' packets.
Turn off your pagers and cell phones. Better yet, leave them at home or locked in your vehicle.
Do not attempt to enter any competition site after the Door Monitor has shut the door.
Bring four copies of all forms (the Outside Assistance form, Cost form, Style form, and any other form required by your problem.) Be sure and keep an additional copy for your use at the next level of competition.
Bring two copies of any Problem Clarifications you have received. Coaches and all team members report to the Staging Area Judge 15 minutes prior to your scheduled starting time.
After completing your long term problem and discussing the solution with the judges, clean up the site and remove all your costumes and props so that the next team can start on time in a clean site. Your coaches or other non-team members may help with this.
Wait quietly in the designated area for your Spontaneous competition. Be respectful of others who are competing.
Show respect and good sportsmanship to all other competitors, coaches, judges, media, audience members, and tournament officials.
Show respect for the competition site, and help us keep it clean.
In the event of a medical emergency, contact a tournament official immediately.
Be very aware that noone related to your team commits Outside Assistance.
Enjoy yourself and have fun!

From East:

Take the Parkway East (Route 376) toward Pittsburgh, to the Boulevard of the Allies (Liberty Tunnels) exit.
Go across the Liberty Bridge and straight through the Liberty Tunnels.
At the end of the tunnel, follow the signs for Rt. 51 south.
Follow Rt. 51 to Rt. 88 and turn right onto Rt. 88.
At the first traffic light, turn right onto McNielly Road
Stay on McNielly Road. After the first traffic light, the school is about 1.5 miles up the hill on the left side.

From South:

Follow Rt. 19 north to Dormont.
In Dormont, turn right onto Kelton Ave. (across from the post office).
Follow Kelton Ave. to the school.

From North:

Take Rt. 79 south to Parkway, toward Pittsburgh.
Just before the Fort Pitt Tunnels, take the Rt. 51 south exit. Follow Rt. 51 to Rt. 88
Turn right onto Rt. 88
At the first traffic light, turn right onto McNielly Road
Stay on McNielly Road. After the first traffic light, the school is about 1.5 miles up the hill on the left side.

Take Exit 11 (Old Exit 15) for Rodi Road (Rt. 791), Penn Hills and follow Rodi Road to the "T" intersection at Frankstown Road
Turn Right onto Frankstown Road and follow to the third traffic light (BP on right, Arby's across street)
Turn right onto Saltsburg Road and go through the first light. Continue about 1/4 mile and turn right onto Aster

From Pittsburgh and Points off Route 79:

Take I 279 South, follow this road for 11 miles. The road's label changes to US-22 W/ US-30 W /Airport then it becomes PA 60 North.
Take Exit 3 (right lane), PA 60 N Business toward Moon. {DO NOT GO TOWARD THE PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.}
At the second traffic light turn right onto University Boulevard.
The Middle School is on your right after the Bob Evan's Restaurant.
For the High School:
1. Continue past the Middle School.
2. At the second traffic light, turn right on Beaver Grade Road.
3. Bear right at the stop light and the High School's entrance is on the right just passed the crest of a hill.
4. Parking is at a premium, so we encourage busses to park in the nearby shopping center parking lots.

From the Sewickley Bridge:

Turn right onto PA 51 N (University Boulevard).
Pass Robert Morris University on your left.
For the high School:
1. At the next light, turn left onto Beaver Grade Road.
